FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about your orlando airport transfer to a hotel.

How much does it cost to get from MCO to an Orlando hotel?

Merie's Orlando Express charges a flat rate per vehicle, not per person. The cost of a transfer to a hotel from Orlando airport depends on which zone you're headed to and your vehicle size. Most Orlando hotel transfers start at $99 for an SUV up to 6 passengers. The exact rate is confirmed at booking with no surge pricing, and no fees added at drop-off.

How long does it take to get from MCO to an Orlando hotel?

It depends on which hotel zone you're headed to. International Drive and downtown Orlando run about 20 minutes under normal traffic. Lake Buena Vista and Universal on-site hotels are closer to 25 minutes. Disney resort hotels and Kissimmee properties typically run 30 minutes. I-4 congestion during peak hours can add 10–20 minutes to any of these estimates.

Does my hotel have a free shuttle from MCO?

Some Orlando hotels offer complimentary shuttles to and from MCO, but coverage is limited and schedules are fixed. Most hotel shuttles run on set departure times, require advance reservations, and may not cover late-night or early-morning arrivals. If your hotel does offer a free shuttle, confirm the schedule directly with the property before your trip. If it doesn't fit your arrival time, a flat-rate private transfer is the next most straightforward option.

What is the best way to get from Orlando airport to a hotel?

It depends on your group size, luggage, and arrival time. Rideshare is convenient for solo travelers with light bags arriving during normal hours. Shared shuttles work for budget-conscious travelers flexible on timing. Private car service makes the most sense for families, groups, travelers with a lot of luggage, or anyone arriving late at night - one flat rate covers the vehicle regardless of how many passengers.

Do you serve hotels outside the main tourist corridors?

Yes. Merie's Orlando Express serves hotels and resorts across the Orlando metro area, including properties in Celebration, Champions Gate, Clermont, Lake Nona, and downtown Orlando. If your hotel isn't in one of the main tourist zones, request a quote and we'll confirm availability and pricing.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight from the moment it departs. If your arrival time changes, we adjust automatically — no calls needed, no delay fees charged. Your driver will be there when you actually land.

Can I add a grocery stop on the way to my hotel?

Yes. A Publix stop can be added at booking for a $15 fee. It adds roughly 20 minutes to the trip and lets you arrive stocked with snacks, drinks, and breakfast items - especially useful for longer stays or families with kids.

Do you offer round-trip transfers between MCO and Orlando hotels?

Yes. Most guests book round-trip. It locks in your rate for the return trip and guarantees availability on your departure day. Just select round-trip when booking.

Where does my driver meet me at MCO?

Your driver meets you inside at baggage claim - not at the curb, not in the rideshare lot. MCO has two main terminals: Terminal B (Gates 1–59) and Terminal C (Gates 70–129). Whichever terminal your flight arrives at, your driver will be waiting at the baggage claim level with a sign showing your name before you reach the exit.
If you're not sure which terminal your flight lands at, check your airline's app after boarding. It's listed on your arrival gate information. Either way, we track your flight and your driver knows where to be before you land.

Do you serve Brightline Orlando Station?

Yes. Merie's Orlando Express offers pickups and drop-offs at Brightline Orlando Station, located inside Orlando International Airport. If you're arriving by train from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or West Palm Beach, we can meet you at the station and take you directly to your hotel - same flat-rate pricing, same private service.
